by | Jan 23, 2025

We are delighted to announce that The A.A. Van Elslander Foundation has awarded $100,000 to Living and Learning through another generous grant to support our mission. This growing partnership speaks to our shared commitment to enriching lives and strengthening Michigan communities.

The A.A. Van Elslander Foundation looks for partners who demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and have a clear vision for success and sustainability. “Ideally, we look for partners who have a compelling founder’s story and an entrepreneurial spirit. Our greatest partners have overcome adversity, are deeply committed to their mission, and have not just a vision, but a clear plan to success and sustainability,” shares Diane Wells, Executive Director of The A.A. Van Elslander Foundation.

This support will help advance our work in providing meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities. In 2024, our programs served participants from 74 cities across 11 Michigan counties, and this ongoing partnership will help us continue expanding our reach and impact.

The A.A. Van Elslander Foundation’s further investment in our work reflects their dedication to supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in Michigan communities. We are honored to be among the Foundation’s family of partners and remain immensely grateful for their belief in our mission.
