The season of gratitude is truly underway! We are thrilled to share that Eagles for Children has awarded $19,700 to support the Living and Learning Enrichment Center’s 2026 inclusive summer camp, ensuring another year of joyful, confidence-building experiences for young people with disabilities.
This special grant was made possible through the generosity of the golfers at Meadowbrook Country Club, Orchard Lake Country Club, and Walnut Creek Country Club. Their kindness brings transformative experiences to our campers—friendship, outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, creativity, and the chance to explore our 12-acre farmstead.
An Extraordinary Year for Eagles for Children
This year, Eagles for Children made an incredible impact across southeast Michigan:
- 24 country clubs participated
- $1,732,882 raised
- Nearly 200 youth-serving charities benefited
These numbers represent more than just dollars and clubs—they represent countless young people whose lives are being enriched, supported, and celebrated through meaningful programming.

Since our first application, Living and Learning has received a remarkable $99,337 from Eagles for Children. This long-standing support has helped ensure that our camp remains accessible, inclusive, and filled with the magic of friendship and belonging.
Year after year, this partnership allows us to open our doors wider, welcome more campers, and create those unforgettable summer moments where every young person can discover their strengths, build lasting friendships, and experience the joy of being part of a community that celebrates them exactly as they are.
