The Living and Learning Enrichment Center is proud to recognize the generous ongoing support of The W.D. Rogers Foundation, whose investment directly strengthens our programming for youth and teens with disabilities, including our inclusive summer camp offerings.
The W.D. Rogers Foundation prioritizes programs that support children who may be considered “at risk,” including youth with health or disability-related challenges, those experiencing financial hardship, and families navigating complex life circumstances. This focus aligns closely with the population we serve at Living and Learning.
Our summer camp programs provide a safe, structured, and welcoming environment where youth and teens can build social skills, confidence, and independence while engaging in creative, recreational, and community-based activities. For many families, these programs also provide valuable respite and peace of mind, knowing their child is supported by trained staff in an inclusive setting designed around individual needs.
A recent grant award of $12,000 in general operating support from The W.D. Rogers Foundation helps ensure that these programs remain accessible to families who might otherwise face barriers to participation. Their investment allows us to maintain high-quality staffing, adaptive programming, and meaningful experiences that foster growth, connection, and joy for the youth we serve.
We are deeply grateful for The W.D. Rogers Foundation’s commitment to youth-focused programming and their recognition of the importance of consistent support for children and teens facing challenges. Their partnership plays an essential role in helping us deliver programs that make a lasting difference in the lives of young people with disabilities and their families.
